A note from the artist: My piece of writing was inspired by the community in the town next to mine when I was six and a Nazi march was stopped. Both Jews and non-Jews stood up against a hateful group and the march was stopped.

A note from the artist: I was moved by baby Kfir Babas and his family, the look on his mother's face as they are being kidnapped. Thank you for offering this vital platform. I'm grateful that this opportunity exists for Jewish artists. Thank you for providing a glimmer of hope and light.

LITVA
A note from the artist: My Bubbe was born in Lithuania, and had the Holocaust never happened, I would have as well. My piece is about me returning to my country, or the country that should've been my country. It's about returning my grandmother to her mother, who'd been buried in the IX Fort, her body still pulsating beneath dirt, like so many Jewish bodies that were buried alive. Jewish bodies matter like all other bodies. May we treat them with the same respect, love, and honor.
A note from the artist: Dr. Tamara MC is the granddaughter of the greatest Bubbe on earth. Her life's work is dedicated to her Holocaust survivor grandmother, who didn't have an ounce of hate in her body, despite withstanding the worst atrocities. You can learn more about Tamara on her website: www.tamaramc.com.
